This SPA Conference is focussing on "PEOPLE".

All presentations and content will be geared towards this theme with a focus on our Converter Member audience.  We strongly recommend that all Converter Members attend and encourage colleagues across the business to attend this Conference - there will be valuable sessions just for them!  We encourage Converter Members to bring along colleagues who may not have attended Conference before.

Jean-Pascal Bobst, Chief Executive Officer of Bobst Group, Keynote Speaker.

Jean-Pascal Bobst, represents the fourth generation of the Bobst family in the company, after Bobst Group was founded by his ancestor Joseph Bobst in 1890 in Lausanne, Switzerland. 

He started his career within Bobst Group in 1994 and held various managerial positions abroad and in Switzerland. Prior to his appointment as CEO in May 2009, Mr. Bobst was Head of Technology, Supply, Production and Logistics for Bobst Group.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland and has completed the Program for Executive Development at INSEAD.

Jean-Pascal Bobst is married and the father of four children.

As co-founder of 3Space, Henry is also an award-winning social entrepreneur. With its innovative solution to generating social value from empty commercial property, 3Space was commended in Fast Company's World Changing Ideas and won the European section of the FT/Citi Urban Ingenuity Awards.

The Health & Safety Forum is a round-table discussion that focusses on highlighting the key issues around Plant H&S and looks to offer practical solutions and suggestions.  The Forum is FREE for members to attend so if you want to send a team for this session, you can book here. The Forum is hosted by Springboard Safety, SPA-retained H&S Experts.  Every Converter Sheet Plant Member should have at least 1 Health & Safety representative attend this Forum.

HOUSEKEEPING:

• Conference will be held in the Arden Suite at Delta Hotels Forest of Arden Country Club.
• All first-time attendees and new SPA members are invited to attend an informal Welcome by the SPA Committee at 12:15 in the Arden Suite, followed by a buffet lunch.
• Conference commences at 1:30pm and is due to end at 6:00pm.
• A sponsored bar will be open immediately following Conference - with thanks to Bobst, Kolbus and Bahmuller, Sponsors of the event.
• Check-in for Full Delegates will take place during afternoon coffee break (location to be confirmed).
• Delegates will need to register a credit card at main reception to enable drinks to be charged to their rooms.
