SPA Codes of Conduct & Event Rules

The Sheet Plant Association (SPA) is committed to fostering a professional, safe, and inclusive environment for all members, delegates, and participants at SPA events and online forums.  All attendees are expected to comply with the following:

1. Professional Conduct

  • Act professionally and ethically at all times.
  • Represent the SPA and your organisation positively in interactions with other members, delegates, and the public.
  • Avoid any behaviour that could damage the reputation of the SPA or its members.

2. Respect and Inclusivity

  • Treat all attendees with respect, courtesy, and fairness.
  • Discrimination, harassment, or offensive behaviour is strictly prohibited.
  • Support an inclusive environment where all participants feel welcome.

3. Event Safety & Rules

  • Follow instructions from SPA staff, event organisers, and venue personnel.
  • Comply with health, safety, and security requirements at all events.
  • Use event equipment (e.g., simulators, machinery) safely and responsibly, according to guidance provided.

4. Use of SPA Branding & Materials

  • SPA logos, images, and content may not be used without prior written permission.
  • Members may not suggest endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation beyond standard membership.
  • Social media posts must accurately reflect your relationship with the SPA.

5. Digital & Online Conduct

  • Use SPA websites, portals, and communication channels responsibly.

6. Consequences of Breach

  • Non-compliance may result in removal from events, suspension of membership privileges, or other disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by the SPA.
