Help Launch a Career – Sponsor a Student to Attend SPA Silverstone

As part of our commitment to developing future talent in the corrugated packaging industry, the SPA is inviting its Members to sponsor students to attend the 113th SPA Conference at Silverstone on Monday 2nd February 2026.

This includes:

  • Students who entered the “Think Inside The Box” Student Design Challenge, and
  • Any students that Members wish to invite from colleges, sixth forms or universities who would benefit from exposure to our industry.

 

The Offer – Sponsor a Student to attend SPA 113th Conference at Silverstone at a special student Rate of £50 per person.  By sponsoring a student, your company will enable a young person to:

 

  • Attend the full SPA Conference at Silverstone (12 noon – 6pm)
  • Network with leaders and professionals across the corrugated sector
  • Access the Hall 4 Simulator Experience
  • Visit the Supplier Showcase
  • Learn from speakers, exhibitors and live demonstrations
  • Experience a major industry event and gain real career insight

Please note that this special £50 student rate at Silverstone does not include travel expenses, lunch, drinks reception or dinner.  Additionally, if you would like nominated students (18+) to be attend lunch, sponsored drinks reception or dinner, please contact the SPA Office.

Recognition for Sponsors

To thank participating Members, we will create a Student Welcome Display at Conference featuring:

  • Names of all sponsoring companies
  • Names of the sponsored students (if provided)
  • The “Think Inside The Box” finalist entries
  • A message of appreciation from the SPA



Sponsors will also be acknowledged:

  • On SPA social media channels
  • In the next SPA Newsletter

How to Sponsor

Please email SPA Marketing with:

  • The number of students you wish to sponsor
  • If these are students you are nominating, please include their name, their age, the name of their educational establishment plus an email address for them.
  • The SPA will handle the coordination with students and tutors.  A “Student Welcome Pack” email explaining dress code, agenda and expectations will be emailed to each student and tutor with an SPA contact name for questions.  Students need to be aware that SPA Conference will be photographed and filmed.  Payment for student attendance will need to be paid in advance of Conference.
