Let's take the corrugated promotional message out to a primary school audience!

Dear Colleagues
Taking our promotional message out to a primary school audience
Recall that we ran a successful schools programme last year called All Aboard Cardboard, in which we encouraged industry representatives to engage with local primary schools. We are running the same programme again this autumn and I would like to ask for your support.
- We plan to coincide with national Recycle Week (14th – 20th October) and we would prefer action then, but you are free to engage before or after if it suits you
- The best way to secure a presentation slot at a primary school is to leverage personal connections – a parent of a primary school student or close friends whose child attends primary school
- School heads and teachers use the summer break to plan lessons and curriculums for the upcoming scholastic year, making this the ideal time to approach them
- Once the school has expressed an interest, as well as date and time, you’ll need to establish the duration & setting, as well as consent for photography
- CPI will provide an interactive presentation in good time; bear in mind that, speaking to an audience of 5 – 8-year-olds, you’ll need to plan your style accordingly.
The attached guidance notes explain in further detail.
We can all agree on the importance of informing the younger generation, so we would like to see strong support for this initiative. I encourage you to consider who can take part at your site, or across your sites.
Any questions, and all confirmations of interest (so we can issue the presentation and keep track of school numbers) to me please.
Kind regards
