SPA Board Grade Calculator Application - FREE to all SPA Members

SPA Members can now login to the Member's area of SPA Website and access the FREE SPA Web-based SPA Board Grade Calculator Application tool.

The newly-developed Web-based SPA Board Grade Calculator Application can be utilised to determine the Box Compression of a given box and potential commercial implications or opportunities.  By using this tool, you can calculate the theoretical BCT of any '02' style case using the ECT values for the grade of board.  The Application also enables you to:

• Compare the performance of differing board grades and discover the optimum.
• Determine the estimated BCT of the box for any board grade.
• Gauge performance by grade.
• Optimise performance vs cost.
• Enter the World of performance-based packaging.
• Account for ‘environmental factors’ e.g., Moisture levels, stacking, printed/die-cut etc.
• Fine-tune your application with ‘actual’ ECT data from your Sheet feeder.
• Use as a valuable tool for Value Engineering projects.

The SPA is running a FREE SPA Board Grade Workshop the day after Conference

on Tuesday 26th September at 9:30am.
