SPA 108th Conference Round-Up:  Esteemed Presenters, Emerging Leaders in attendance and a call-to-action for #UKCITS24 Trade Show!

This week's 108th SPA Conference, held at The Forest of Arden Hotel, was another record breaker for the Association.  It was the best-attended SPA Conference ever held with 190 delegates registered to attend.  The business sessions were, as ever, 100% relevant as delegates were treated to an afternoon of insights from esteemed speakers, including Henry Coutinho-Mason, Guest Speaker on Artificial Intelligence, Jean-Pascal Bobst, CEO of BOBST, Neil Osment of NOA Prism, Eddie Fellows of Smurfit Kappa, Phil Fenton of Confederation of Paper Industries, Kate Hulley of Belmont Packaging and many more...

On Tuesday morning, the first SPA Emerging Leaders Programme Face-to-face Training session took place at the hotel for the 2024 intake of SPA Emerging Leaders.  The principle of the SPA Emerging Leaders Programme is quite simple:

  • You identify those people who will be the leaders of the future in your business
  • They commit to the programme, knowing the desired outcome
  • We (the SPA) create a group of Emerging Leaders (ELs) who grow and develop as a peer group and graduate from the programme in 2 years’ time.

More detail is contained in the Programme Prospectus.  If you would like to register interest for a candidate in your company to attend the 2025 EL Programme, please email the SPA Office asking for them to be placed on the waiting list.
