Four Months Since SPA Conference at Silverstone Circuit ... and Plenty More to Come for Members!
Can you believe it is already four months since SPA Members came together for our Conference at Silverstone Circuit to network, learn and share ideas with colleagues from across the corrugated packaging industry. Here is a quick reminder of the days events:
While Silverstone may now be behind us, the SPA team is already gearing up for the next major industry event, with the Association exhibiting at the UK Corrugated Industry Trade Show 2026 (UKCITS26) this October at Telford International Centre. We look forward to seeing many members there. Please use THIS LINK to register for the Trade Show - entry is FREE.
In the meantime, there is still plenty happening across the SPA calendar. Members are encouraged to keep an eye on the Events section of the SPA website, where details of upcoming activities and opportunities are regularly updated. Last week saw 2 successful member events take place:
The SPA Emerging Leaders Programme held Module 3 at Sheard Packaging, focusing on Managing and Building Teams
30 SPA Members joined a virtual SPA Sales Masterclass delivered by SBR Consulting, exploring Performance Coaching for Sales Managers. The Masterclass was recorded and a video of the session is now available to all SPA Members in the "SPA Member-Only Video Vault"
Looking further ahead, planning is already underway for 3 SPA Conferences in 2027. We are currently finalising dates and venues and can promise a fantastic mix of new, old and familiar locations. As soon as contracts are signed, details will be released so that members can save the dates in their diaries.
Alongside events and training, members continue to benefit from a growing range of SPA Initiatives, including the free Employment Law Hotline provided by Menzies Law, the Lean Manufacturing Health Check Initiative with Acumen Consulting and the R&D Tax Credit Scheme delivered by Kene.
And there is more to come. Members will soon be hearing about a brand-new SPA Initiative due to be launched later this summer.
